I just got back from Milan, where I had the joy (and visual overload!) of spending a few days immersed in the world of design at Salone del Mobile 2025. This year’s edition was an absolute feast for the senses—cozy, tactile, full of warmth and soul. So I wanted to share with you, fellow design lovers and professionals, what stood out to me the most. Starting to work online truly changed my life.

But if I’m honest, the only reason I can keep hitting my goals month after month, especially working solo, is because I’m deeply organized.

That’s exactly why my Notion dashboard exists.

I built it for interior designers… which really means I built it for myself. 😅

And with the help of Dave, a Notion-certified creator, it turned into the system that keeps everything clear, calm, and under control.

It’s not fancy. It’s just… a lifesaver.

Swiss Coffee by Benjamin Moore is one of those colors that doesn’t try to steal the spotlight, but quietly holds the whole home together.

It’s a warm, soft white that never feels flat.

It doesn’t turn yellow, it doesn’t read cold or gray, and it reacts to light in a very natural way.

In the morning it feels fresh and bright, in the afternoon more balanced, and by evening it becomes warm and almost creamy.

I love it as a base color because:

– it works beautifully in open-concept homes

– it creates flow between rooms without harsh transitions

– it enhances furniture, materials, and accent colors instead of competing with them

– it’s a “safe” choice that still feels intentional and refined

It’s often my starting point when I want to build a cohesive, timeless, easy-to-live-in color palette.

💡 A clear offer: I wasn’t offering “everything to everyone.” I was specific about how I could help and what problem I was solving.

📣 Personal outreach: not cold selling. Real conversations. Letting people know I was available and open to working virtually.

🎨 Visuals that spoke for me: even without a big portfolio, I shared thoughtful visuals that showed my taste, my eye, and my approach.

💌 A simple, professional proposal: clear scope, clear process, no confusion. Saying “yes” felt easy and safe for the client.

Landing that first client changes everything.

It builds confidence, momentum, and proof, and from there, things start to compound.
