I just got back from Milan, where I had the joy (and visual overload!) of spending a few days immersed in the world of design at Salone del Mobile 2025. Choosing paint colors sounds simple… until you actually have to do it.

Most clients come to me after weeks (sometimes months) of testing samples on the walls.

The colors aren’t wrong, they just don’t work together, with the light, or with the things they already own.

What I really do during a consultation isn’t just picking a nice color.

I create a whole plan, so every room feels connected and intentional, and you can finally stop second-guessing every decision.

If you’re stuck between 5 whites or staring at 20 samples on your wall… you’re exactly at the moment when help actually saves time (and repainting).

Your color must perform in both conditions.

Light in motion means undertones matter even more, what feels perfect at 9 AM may fall flat by 4 PM.

I used to think I needed more discipline, better time management, or simply more energy.

But sometimes the issue isn’t you.

It’s the way your work is structured around your life… instead of the opposite.

Changing how I worked changed everything much more than changing what I do.

I’m curious, have you ever felt this too?
